Benji Dek. VIC FYA CREWS. Rest in peace, brother. You inspired our entire community. Some people just stand out from the rest…and you were one of them. I know for me the first time I went to the real Bushwick in the mid 80s with my cousin TR that was seven years older than me at your house on Knickerbocker and Troutman. I remember how tall you were. Even when you used to come to my house to see my cousin and Danny CAE, I was such a little kid, and you were this tall guy that we all looked up to in the neighborhood. You had such a dope style. And you never stopped bombing. Your loss will be felt by us all.
DEK MAG NOE was almost like one word. And it had to be said in that order. Otherwise, it didn’t sound the same for some reason.
Rest well and be at peace.
And say what’s up to all of our brothers that are gone.
