Now that I figured out how to do carousel posts again 😅 here’s a mini retrospective of the Graverubbings print. Since people seem to be interested, I’m considering making it the next release after Chiropteran Garden is all shipped out. This print originally came in ghostly grey as part of the Every Day Is Halloween collection I showed in collaboration with @americanduchess at Rufflecon (modeled by @purestmaiden ) and at Pacific Media Expo in 2016. Then I brought it back in black when I showed with @voodooodolly at Tekko in 2017 (who graciously modeled it thanks to a last minute emergency, along with her own headpiece and accessory designs). Most recently it was shown in Japan for the Brilliant Star Decoration World Lolita event organized by Triple Fortune in 2019. The print is based on a rubbing of a medieval grave of a knight and lady, based on my childhood obsession with the Middle Ages, thanks to my 4th grade teacher who was in the Society for Creative Anachronism and took us to The Cloisters in NYC 💖🗡👑 #mossbadger #medievallolita #indiebrand #graverubbings #burideco

This past weekend was @bayareakei Ursa Major, the event I looked forward to all year, and then I barely took any photos all weekend.
