A CACOPHONY OF CITY LIFE Concluding the exhibition ‘Wie Zijn de Stad’ we celebrate urban clutter, meshing together light, sound, movement, texture and life. Raging through all the way from Mexico City SOGA bring political fury in a mix of swinging punkrock and pounding hardcore. Ravaging cities across their European tour they will hopefully play a song-or-twelve from their latest album Corrosión, recently released through Iron Lung Records, self-described as ‘’a reminder of our resistance and solidarity.’’ DÜSENTROOP These smelly city kids from the streets of Tallinn encapsulate the chaos of Estonian punk: fast, loud, energetic; hits like a train and doesn’t stop until they’ve hit the destination of maximum mayhem. YOUTH DEPRIVATION Nihilistic hardcore punk exploring the darkest alleyways of the mind. Playing a special set for the occasion. Forming the dynamic duo of YOUTHSECTOR together with bootboy-punkrock superstars FRONTSECTOR who will deliver catchy punk-anthems for the citypunx. The entrancing electropunk by the invertebrates of MESOFAUNA will make you move to the beat of traffic lights. There is life bustling between the paving stones, this is what they dance to. The youth are getting restless, no more proof needed than BURNING DIXI, who will throw a brick right through the window of your political ambivalence. Young punks pushing back on every ill of current society. Besides performing bands there will be a flurry of DJs, VJs and distros for those looking to expand their vinyl collections. WIE ZIJN DE STAD 28 - 30 mei 2026 Moshpit of Creation De identiteit van een stad bestaat niet louter uit geschiedenis, architectuur en bestuurlijk beleid, maar wordt ook juist gevormd door de ervaringen, herinneringen en perspectieven van haar inwoners. De expositie Wie zijn de Stad verkent de symbiotische relatie waarin stad en inwoner elkaars identiteit vormen in verschuivende verhoudingen waarin belangen, ervaring en leefbaarheid niet altijd evenwichtig blijken. Met een kleine groep internationale kunstenaars transformeren we de Moshpit of Creation om tot een stadslandschap waarin we gezamenlijk verschillende werken over onze relaties, perspectieven en ervaringen met de stad tentoonstellen. Opening: donderdag 28 mei 16:00 Afsluitend: URBAN CLUTTER punkfest zaterdag 30 mei (€10) (EN) The identity of a city does not consist solely of history, architecture, and administrative policy, but is precisely shaped by the experiences, memories, and perspectives of its inhabitants. The exhibition Who Are the City explores the symbiotic relationship in which city and inhabitant shape each other's identity in shifting dynamics where interests, experience, and livability do not always prove to be in balance. Together with a small group of international artists, we are transforming the Moshpit of Creation into an urban landscape in which we collectively exhibit various works regarding our relationships, perspectives, and experiences with the city. This is @nkkrp studio, who joined us a little less than a year ago. One of many bloody amazing artists working here with us at moc. Our spaces are approx 14-16m2 with some larger. Rent is €165 including tax. We have a wood workshop, steel workshop, printing studio, ceramic ovens, music studio and project space split over 5 buildings. We have a very DIY mentality and run without external funding. It is important as a member to participate in the up keeping of the home to our practice. We work together and collectively. Please apply asap as we are in a hurry to fill up. So applications are possible over the weekend. If you are not successful in getting a space you can also join our waiting list.
