I had the pleasure to be the DOP of this social spot, that brings all kind of different people together, working in the hospital environment.
It was important for us to capture the genuine emotions of the people, which is why everything was shot in one take sequences without any retakes.
In front of the camera was in total over 50 people captured by three Alexa Minis, one of them on a Supertechno crane, which allowed us maximum freedom of movement.
We paired the cameras with one Angenieux Optimo 24-290 & two Arri Alura 45-250 sets.

Last year, I had the opportunity to film together with @simon.mauritio and edit a 110-minute documentary for Porsche, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop.
We traveled to Los Angeles, Atlanta, and New York, visiting over 20 different artists, such as @xzibit@dsmoke7@estevanoriol@djmuggs_the_black_goat_@chaz_bojorquez@nuface@karlkani@murs316 , and many more.
It was over a year's worth of work, and I'm now glad that the film is finally released.

While we were filming in New York, we met Joe Ficalora from the @thebushwickcollective
He has lived his whole life in Bushwick (Brooklyn) and grew up here.
However, he experienced some early setbacks. His father was killed in a robbery, and his mother passed away from a brain tumor.
Through art, Joe found distraction and refuge, and, together with various artists from the Bushwick Collective, has painted countless walls around the world.
Overall, I can say that he is a highly admirable person, full of creativity and determination, never giving up no matter how tough life may be.
