12 years ago I planned a makeup class at friends nail salon and the impact was so big we did 2 classes back to back and 100 women came. Some things happened that made me vow that I wouldn’t do it again and the classes I did teach was from a brand hiring me to come. This @morethanjustmakeup__ class was special, the vow was broken and I stood on faith and said Ok I’ll go where you send me. It was many seeing me coming out of the belly of the whale and saying yes I’ll do it God, only for you though, not for fame or to be the first or to be something I’m not but to only become everything I am that you called me before you formed me in mothers womb. And then I see the testimonials and I’m like wow Lord even with the demonic distraction 🤪that the enemy sent to the class and other things lol I feel like you’re pleased. Because even with all the things I handled it in excellence. God sees our hearts I don’t speak his name to be part of a trend I speak it because I believe who he is and feel his heart and desire for his daughters. It’s time for women to see themselves in His image and likeness and boldly embrace it! One thing I always say is I don’t work with ordinary women. And God kept reminding me of this on my way to the class on Saturday, he Said clearly “the women I am sending are not ordinary women, So I need you to prepare them.” @morethanjustmakeup__ experience was the framework of All Things Beauty and God©️ it was the framework that sometimes we need the extra nudge to see where God is taking us and then we can strategize the steps to get there. My friend called me to say she felt emotional because it really reminded her that there is a plan for her! That will prosper her and not harm her. This day not only restored my hope but I know it restored the women in the room. To just have some girl time and to laugh at my dry jokes, eat good food, and fellowship. I remember growing up in Brooklyn I was picked on for my looks now listen I was a quirky little girl with glasses and braces and beautiful wasn’t something I thought I was. I remember when I first learned how to do my makeup I had friends pick on me because it wasn’t done right. But that didn’t stop me from not only learning how to do my own face but mastering how to do makeup for others. 15 years later I can prepare for any event and look and feel confident without having to pay someone.
