Putting my DIY craft skills to good use. Making swag for tomorrow’s @bechinatownsf night market on 5/8. We will have 27 mahjong tables set up along Waverly Place from 5-9 PM. I’ll be running the HK 🇭🇰 style tables with the help of my volunteers and @dyannaluna will be running the Filipino 🇵🇭 mahjong tables. Excited for this collab with our partners @onwaverly@mrmahjongs !

Save the date! We are collabing with @onwaverly@bechinatownsf@mrmahjongs@dyannaluna and Rotary Club of San Francisco Chinatown to host an evening of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and Filipino 🇵🇭 style mahjong. We are setting up 27 mahjong tables for open play on opening night of the Chinatown Night Market along historic Waverly Place (link in bio).

Finally started a separate account for my mahjong life 🀄️🀄️🀄️. Over the past year, I’ve had fun meeting different players around the city and making new friends. I hosted my first mahjong gathering last fall at the @onwaverly clubhouse. The theme was no “gai wu” because most of us enjoy playing 3-point minimum. It was an afternoon of competitive, multigenerational mahjong with snacks and good company (plus a Japanese city pop playlist as our soundtrack). Looking forward to our next event and growing this community!
