The idea of home has always been close to my heart. Growing up across continents and cultures, I’ve found myself constantly curious about how others define it, how we each arrive at a sense of belonging.
I’m so grateful to have the support of CultureSource to bring this concert series to life: five distinctive stories from five incredible artists. Each performance is an invitation into a personal world. An offering of music and story that invites us to listen more closely, and perhaps find pieces of ourselves within it.

A throwback to about a year ago, when we weaved together the story of Eve through the music and words of the past and present. As I head to Banff for FUSE, an interdisciplinary residency for collaborative performance creation, I'm looking forward to playing, searching, trying, and uncovering ✨
🎵 - I pastori (Ildebrando Pizzetti / Gabriele D’Annunzio)
Finally coming down from how wonderful an experience it was to sing for Carnegie Hall SongStudio this year. A truly unforgettable week! As part of our time together, Muse and I were able to record this wonderful piece in the Weill Music Room. The imagery of this piece is so intimate and such a favorite of mine. Thanks to the whole team at SongStudio for putting this together!

I pastori
Settembre, andiamo. È tempo di migrare.
Ora in terra d'Abruzzi i miei pastori
lascian gli stazzi e vanno verso il mare:
scendono all'Adriatico selvaggio
che verde è come i pascoli dei monti.
Han bevuto profondamente ai fonti
alpestri, che sapor d'acqua natia
rimanga né cuori esuli a conforto,
Isciacquio, calpestio, dolci romori.
Ah perché non son io cò miei pastori?

Meet Mooshy, the sweetest girl you’ll ever lay eyes on. I met her while volunteering with PAAW (Pet Adoption Alternative of Warren) and fell in love 🥺 she spent some time peeking at us from under the bed but is now out and exploring!
Yesterday our singers met to rehearse with the fantastic Dr. Muse Ye, who was in residency at UMSL this past spring semester. She will be collaborating with them all today for the competition. Thanks for being a friend, @moosic97 !!
Graduation day always feels like a blur, there’s never a way to adequately express the gratitude I feel towards everyone who has been instrumental in that journey, but here are some beautiful faces from the day! 🎓
