Castlevania cosplay in 2025?? Are we back in 2021 ๐คฏ๐คฏ
Castlevania is definitely an older series and I was surprised anyone recognised us XD but thank you all who did!! Castlevania remains alive ๐ช๐ช
@ryouko65 and I were supposed to do this last year (that's still 3 years after Season 4 released...) but life got in the way ๐ we've finally done our cosgroup with
@arctic_wolf_eleven though!!! I'm pretty excited to share the rest of the pictures ^^
For the costume, the bracers were made with foam, fake leather and cloth - they're actually quite solid!! It was fun drafting and making them.
Pants were bought to replace what came with the costume. The bracer "tail" cloth matches colours almost exactly with the pants and I'm really happy about that ๐ช
The belt had to be replaced because it was very flimsy, but it was easy to make ๐
Morningstar whip 3D files were from
@thedangerousladies ; print pieces were provided by
@mush.mers and post-processing was by me.
The morningstar chain is an actual metal chain because I thought plastic would look too cheap...metal is good looking and has a nice weight, however that means that this prop is a little heavier than usual. You have to handle it with care too, or the print will break at the part where the chain is attached.

Overall it was a fun costume to both wear and (kind of) make!! I look forward to doing more crafty costumes like this next time โบ๏ธ
