Learning how to lose early taught me how to win later💡
More than anything it helped me understand our journey toward becoming the best version of “us” was the real gift. Yes, this game we made up for fun says the winner is the one with more points. But when you come up short, it’s an opportunity for growth and hopefully you get a chance to enjoy the journey again with a special group of people.
Being present with my Husky Family at the Final Four this year brought me back to how hard & good & precious that time at UConn was for me. It’s beautiful to see the same Way of Winning is what continues to shine even today…Selfless, Connected, Resilient & Fun Basketball!
May we continue to celebrate these companions but even more…bring these championship ways to our communities because the True Championship is Everyone Thriving Together! ❤️
