Finals of the West end New Act 2026 was a beautiful fairy lit night! Got to watch such great talent, each and every one was tragically so damn good (it’s not a competition, Sudeepta) (well this one, literally was)! Big congratulations to the winners Eloise, Ella and Scott! Heart was in my mouth for the whole evening and even though I didn’t take home a prize , making it to the finals was a gift! Thank you to best cheerleader Aman who came to support me at every round , after 12 hour shifts! And has not given up despite me going ā€œthis would make for a good punchlineā€ in between life decisions. Thank you to @withstevemclean for making this amazing platform for us! For being a mentor and championing us all along ! You are a (Highway) Star! (Don’t hate me) Edinburgh soon! (Sometimes when I say these words they don’t even feel real! Edin what?)

March gigs! Spring is here (flower emoji). And some things that inspired me in the last month. Mostly foliage. Since the forest has been a good friend. And the birds. Come for walks and come for gigs! It’s going to be a beautiful monthā¤ļø

Sometime last week…. And the gig after this one I completely bombed! Love how humbling this journey has been! No really! I can never take anything for granted! Just when I feel I’m riding a wave I get knocked down to the bottom of the ocean! A masterclass in shut-up-and-keep -doing-your-thing. But damn 100 gigs! I feel all grown up now! Is it time to retire? But I’ve only just begun! (Shot at the wonderful @lowstakescomedy . A safe space for new material. Valerio🫶) Thank you my dear friends who come for gigsā¤ļøthis gratitude will never get old, unlike me! Thank you to promoters who take me on, encourage me, give me sweeter spotsšŸ™ I’m over worked, so am rambling about sea turtles or something! But it’s been a great ride so far! Please let’s dance some morešŸš€

February is here! (thank f*ck) New gigs on the calendar! I will be touching 100 gigs this month! A HUNDRED! And very excited about new material. (That’s all I’ve been banging on about, I know I know) Last year I was trying to get as much stage time to understand my style, my voice! But I realised that it is ever evolving! So now I want to experiment with material, new themes! Aaarghhh! My head is a smorgasbord of stupidities! Please come for gigs*! Please keep sending your encouragement from far off shores , it means the worldā¤ļø Chalo/Let’s go!

December gigs and some inspirations from the past few weeks. Hibernation season is here but I have some really cute gigs coming up! Especially excited for a Christmas showcase at Comedy Incorp, my home gig! After which I plan a complete retreat into a world of blankets and stupidities. See you at gigs, babe, or in the new year and tell me all about your resolutions. Cos we are teenagers like that. You and me bothšŸ’›

West End New (Old) Act 2025. Runner up. Mind Blown. (Last slide is exactly how that night felt!) I entered this comp in October with zero expectations. I got through to the semis. And then to the finals and then realised, oh wait a minute! All this is serious now! I always knew how important this competition is in the Comedy world. But now I let it sink in and that’s when the spiralling began. But due to a seasonal sickness, I didn’t know if I will even get to perform at the finals, that was a great leveller. Then I emerged on the other side with a sexy nasal drawl and nerves. Spoke to a few friends who told me to go back to that place of play, frolic, mischief (hello Jaq) and slowly got back to doing just that! The finals of the West End New (Old) Act was one of the finest nights of comedy I have seen live, everyone putting up their A game! Take a bow @stangunko @nickmorey_comedy @donnawilliamscomedy @nigelwolfinstandup . I got to share the Runners up position with my brother @dipak_patel_comedy a.k.a Raj against the machine! My favourite Victorian ghost @elainemilescomedy won the audience award and Fred Bell took it home! Thank you Aman for listening to my set 10792 times with the same enthusiasm. @monica_writes175 for coming with me for every step despite long days at work. Thank you @withstevemclean for doing this every year! Giving us fledging comics this opportunity to share our names with greats. For being an ally. For reminding us over and over again to enjoy the process ā¤ļø (Going to do cartwheels now)

November shows are here. I am so distracted by the changing season, the longer nights. But I also marvel at the falling leaves . Daylight feels almost special. I acknowledge the change in the air. London friends come for some gigs*. It’s a good time to be indoors, warm and haha. Let’s Go Novemberā¤ļø (Thank you Brownsauce for the gig photographs)

@brownsaucehaha x @tara_theatre Comedy lab is a dream sequence for a comedian. We workshopped our material all day, did dry runs of our set and then got to perform it to a SOLD OUT theatre with @mrnishkumar headlining it. No superlatives will do justice to his prowess so I will let words be. Thank you @sharlincomedy @saimaferdows ā¤ļø for designing the lab, holding us and the sandwiches. It was a very special weekend.
