Issue No. 18 Feature • Walking into Swiss appliance brand vzug’s new Melbourne studio is not unlike visiting a friend’s home. It’s a warm, approachable space where one is tempted to perch on a stool at the island, pull up a chair at the dining table or laze on the oversized sofa while something is rustled up in the kitchen.
It’s a very Australian kind of space, reflective of the company’s philosophy around its global studios – that they should embody their locale in both look and feel.

Mood is excited to announce our appointment as the design and build partner for the works 649 Victoria Street, Abbotsford. This project reflects Mood’s commitment to delivering modern, complex and diverse fit-outs.
Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery presents a contemporary take on traditional medical practices. Mood will bring to life a modern, luxurious feel for this state of the art clinic, integrating complex medical equipment across multiple disciplines.
Spanning 600m², the project will comprise a series of suites and waiting areas, drawing cues from its surroundings. Warm timbers, curved forms and soft, diffused lighting create a calm, grounded atmosphere throughout.

Mood Construction continues to progress Bennetts Lane Bathhouse, a refined wellness destination by Perri Group and Pellicano, set within Melbourne’s CBD.
As key finishes come together, the space begins to take shape, a considered environment defined by texture, tone and atmosphere.
Designed by Tandem Studio, Bennetts Lane Bathhouse is set to become a defining wellness offering within the precinct.

A playful, brand led dog grooming studio is beginning to take shape, defined by sculptural curves, tactile finishes and a joyful pink and red palette.
Designed and constructed to reflect the client’s personality, every detail has been carefully considered to create an energetic and welcoming space for pups and their people.
We are now entering a defining stage of the build. Painting has commenced, internal tiling is wrapping up, and joinery is scheduled for installation later this week.
Next week the shopfront will come to life with its external paintwork, while joinery and stone installation continue to roll out over the coming weeks, bringing the space closer to completion.

Mood is proud to be appointed to deliver the new headquarters for JAGGAD.
Located in Brighton and spanning two levels, the project brings together workspace, a dedicated Pilates studio, open gym, wellness centre, creative studio and showroom, an integrated headquarters bringing every part of the brand into one environment.

Mood Construction is proud to be appointed builder for the new Porcelanosa flagship showroom in Melbourne, designed by Arcanary.
Founded in 1973, Porcelanosa is a globally renowned Spanish family-owned brand. With a team of more than 5,000 people worldwide, the company is celebrated for its innovation, craftsmanship and forward-thinking approach to contemporary architecture.
The showroom will showcase an extensive range of kitchens, bathrooms, tiles and bespoke joinery, alongside a curved engineered stone feature bulkhead and a fireplace, complemented by statement wall tiles to create a truly immersive, design led retail experience.
An incredible brand. A considered design. An exciting collaboration.
