From choreographin outside a random lil laundry stop in Asia to watching the fellas perform live on the big stage, this was one of the most challenging yet rewarding projects of the year.
Thank you to the guys for not only bringing the vision to life, but literally elevating n levitating. From day 1 of rehearsal yall came in with the fire and I knew it was gonna be time to pull up lol. Super happy I got to share the stage with yall for a moment (including THEE UNITED CENTER 🤯) and every video that cross my timeline lights me up. Thank yall fr!

It’s been an unreal summer but this night will live in my head rent free.99 for a long long time! There’s so much I could say about this EPIC moment, but what I’m most grateful for is how much history and community it held.. Running the main stage with my lady, my sister, some of my bestfriends and hometown day 1s.. it’s really hard to beat..
Major love to boss lady Nashe for genuinely fckin with the dance community and pitching the vision for us to go crazy!! It was damn near too much fun sweating our asses off and singing at the top of our lungs.. I never been one to complain, but you reminded me it’s possible to just put our heads down n create the future we want to exist in. Much much love. Where grown kids dance forever ✨

IMMA SHOW YALL HOW TO MOVE LIKE THIS!
Honestly manifesting more of these roles mannnn. It was easy to stay present and take in everything this project had to offer. From a front row seat to conversations between Donald & Hiro, witnessing Shay create and translate the funk, finally sharing the stage with Rob, and just meetin so many cool/passionate people on set - this one really shifted my mentality around “being in the room”!
My dance journey started in musical theater (anything goes, hairspray, grease, etc.) so my soul was absolutely on fire during this whole process lol. I mean they had mfs acting n singing on the spot with a middle part?! I’ll always have love for theatrics. 🎭

realizing class is such a great way to reveal some of the tools that go unused for a while and i think it’s so cool that certain teachers, styles, & songs have the ability to bring those hidden elements out of us. it’s really magic.
much gratitude to my brothers in textures n butter @isidroirehi & @trevortakemoto for constantly inspirin me and for helping me nourish my artist in this class. i feel like i haven’t danced this style in years and it was very refreshing lol. + i had a lot of fun dancin with all the homies ❤️🩹
