ICYMI: Last March 29, 2026, Edge TV Philippines hosted the School of Edge: Portrait Photography Workshop led by Professor Bong Manayon alongside Mon Marquez at Edge Studio Kafe.
Participants engaged in an intensive, hands-on studio session that highlighted the fundamentals of portrait storytelling through intentional lighting, precise posing, and controlled studio workflow. The workshop provided a focused environment where each participant was guided closely, allowing them to refine their techniques and better understand the creative decisions behind professional portrait photography.
Through mentorship and practical application, the session emphasized not just capturing images, but developing a deeper approach to visual storytelling and subject direction within a studio setting.
