Blind sound bath.
We closed our Graysonās View Foundation retreat in a way that felt⦠just right š¤
A sound bath that invited our families to slow down, breathe, and simply be.
For our blind and low vision youth & caretakers, this experience went beyond listeningāit became something they could feel. Vibrations moving through the body, tones creating calm, and a space where presence didnāt rely on sight.
After the session, the kids were invited to come forwardāto touch, to explore, to experience the instruments that held them so gently. No barriers. No ālook, donāt touch.ā Just curiosity, connection, and access.
Watching their hands move across each instrument, feeling the textures, the shapes, the resonance⦠it was a reminder:
Access isnāt extra.
Itās everything.
Thank you to
@monsterluna &
@ranchocontentomorongovalley for creating a space that honored every sense, every child, and every caretaker.
This is what belonging without barriers looks like. š¤
Visual description:
Photos capture families and children gathered in a calm, softly lit space during a sound bath. Instruments are arranged in front of the room while participants rest and listen to Luna create vibration sounds to relax and connect too. In later moments, children are seen smiling, reaching out, and gently exploring the instruments with their hands, guided with care and then playing the sounds in the instrumentās.
