Total dream come true to announce my new show Long Distance on @3rrrfm
Triple R has been in my life since my family migrated to Australia in 2010. It has and will always remain a constant in my life forever and ever.
Long Distance: A sonic bridge between past and present, here and there. Featuring stories, songs, field recordings and conversations that bridge some form of “distance”: geographical, generational, cultural, or emotional.
Debut episode this Wednesday night/ Thursday morning 2-4am. Tune in if you’re awake and celebrate my 26th bday with me or just listen back on rrr.org.au
Thank you to Triple R for literally everything.
With so much love,
Mon

Surprise! 𝑮.𝑼.𝑵 return to The Grace Darling, descending from Gadigal land to lead a night of fractured electronics and experimental sound.
They’re joined by Ž𝑰𝑽𝑨, delivering darkwave with a Slavic edge, and 𝑶𝒍𝒛𝒂, conjuring layered electronics, twisted vocals, and raw experimental forms from deep within Naarm’s underground.
Opening the night is 𝑼𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒉 - a new three-piece blending folk elements with textured, synthetic atmospheres.

These five boundary pushing artists/ bands will guide us into the depths of sound—inviting gentle movement, introspection, and immersion, as we approach the longest night of the year, the Winter Solstice.
The basement will feature live performances from Techno 666, Alzheimer Blanks, Final Fantasy, Clove Flies and Elvis.

Coming up this Thursday ➡️ SIGHTINGS CH.2
‘𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔’ transforms the basement into a dynamic and immersive environment that blurs the lines between sound, vision, and interaction - showcasing Naarm-based experimental musicians and artists who are pushing the boundaries in their respective fields.
The second exhibition is dedicated to weeds. It functions as the findings from a 3 week long investigation into them - their spontaneity, resistance, functioning and growth. For the central element, the artist and curator walked from their homes towards each other, meeting halfway along the train track that connects them. The voyage was archived through the collection of soil, rubbish, plant matter and video documentation.
Chapter 2 of Sightings will feature live performances from:
✷ 𝑶𝑽 𝑷𝒂𝒊𝒏 • @ov_pain
✷ 𝑺𝒆𝒙 𝑪𝒐𝒑 • @massive_scratch
