KOSMOJAZZ is a community of musicians, DJs, and visual artists, all exploring the farthest reaches of jazz fusion, psychedelia, and experimental electronics
Each event is a series of live performances linked by heavy improvisation and collaboration between acts, which culminates in a cross-band live jam and call out to the audience to get involved (bring your 🎷)
After that, it’s DJs till close, and we’re hyped to be joined by @antisocialjazzclub - who’ll be spinning jazz without borders all night long
We’re also blessed to be joined by the maestro himself @young_motormouf1991 as MC of the evening 🎤

Melodic nu-jazz quartet, Monkey Paw, have been active on the Liverpool scene for several years now in different configurations, but started to garner serious buzz from further afield with the release of their first single ‘Beam’ last December, as well as a standout appearance at the Wombat Jazz Festival.
Their approach is distinctly their own - but the group’s virtuosity paired with their synthesis of a strong melodic focus over a super-tight rhythm section definitely puts them in the same conversation as acts like corto.alto, Ruby Rushton, and Alfa Mist.
With new material to debut and more UK dates to be announced later in the year, we couldn’t be more psyched to have them play 🪩
