Our weekend at the dog-friendly @monacodc was the perfect little city escape with Clyde living his absolute best life. From the moment we checked in, he was spoiled with the pet-friendly package that included a dog bed + bowls waiting in the room so there was no need to pack the extras. @kimpton
The oversized windows quickly became Clyde’s favorite part of the room — he spent most of the stay people-watching and claiming his spot on the bed before I even unpacked 😂🐶
One of my favorite parts of the stay was waking up early and walking through the quiet city streets before DC fully woke up. The location honestly couldn’t be better — right by Capital One Arena and only a few blocks from Chinatown.
We also loved having the @dirtyhabitdc connected to the hotel. I had the vegetable gnocchi + margarita on the dog-friendly patio at Dirty Habit while Clyde happily enjoyed treats from the hotel 🐾🍹
And don’t skip the complimentary wine happy hour in the lobby from 5–6 PM — such a fun touch after a day exploring the city.
