A&J’s night was filled with moments caught in time - they skipped tradition and had a short ceremony followed by Paella, drinks, and dancing at @kissakissa.us surrounded by their people.
Florals: @soursopflowerfarm
Paella: @paellapartyct
Cake: @dreamyfigs
It started with moody florals and martinis and after refreshing the weather app a thousand times the sun came out to shine on this perfect day.

L&A’s weekend on film.
I have a lot of opinions on the idea that film is inherently better, because it isn’t if the final image doesn’t work. Film requires decision making from the stock, to the shot, to the process, and through lab and the scan. Digital requires just as many choices, but they can be made later in the process (if you shoot right). And both can capture the feeling, film is just already curated.
But when film hits, it hits.
I don’t often get my film scanned on a frontier scanner, which gives the borders and this high contrast vibe because there is less flexibility in post, and because I don’t like how it handles grass and foliage, but for winter weddings and flash I think it hits just right.
