What should you do if you’re getting your makeup done and one pops up? 1. 📣DO NOT📣 POP IT DAY OF - I can absolutely cover the pigmentation of spots however I absolutely cannot make makeup stick to an open wound! 2. If you MUSTTT pop it, do so the day/days before and let it breathe or use pimple patches. My favs are from @herocosmetics 3. Caveat with pimple patches! DO NOT use them the day of! The residue from the sticky patch will stay behind and makeup will not adhere properly. You will see a little circle on your skin even if you haven’t worn one for hours. 4. EVERYONE should be washing their face right before their makeup application. This is especially important if you have a breakout so it is thoroughly cleaned and any crustiness is removed ;)

My key elements to a NATURAL GLAM makeup look🩵 My gorgeous December bride Brett, is the perfect example of my go-to natural glam makeup look! Hair by @morganoliviaevents When I hear “I’m a natural makeup kind of person but want to bump it up from just my everyday makeup look” this is what I think of! ⭐️MY KEY ELEMENTS⭐️ Elevated Skin * Medium coverage * Naturally bronzed & blushed (utilizing cream products for the base to give more impact of the bronze and blush pigments & giving a softly sculpted effect) * Boosting your skin’s natural radiance with glowy products Soft Eyes & Lips * Light eyeshadow (airing on the side of natural eyeshadow and avoiding a super smokey look) * Naturally defined eyes brought with a small amount of black/brown gel liner that isn’t the focus of the eye look while still giving definition to the lash line. * Half-full strip lashes (I gravitate towards a wispy and natural style) * A pinky nude lip is the move! My key elements to a NATURAL makeup look🩵 Every MUA is unique & has different components to their version of these common categorizations to describe levels of makeup. Natural, Natural Glam, Soft Glam, and Full Glam. To give you all a bit more insight as to how I personally categorize these levels let’s dive a bit deeper into each one! When I hear “I’d like to go for a Natural Makeup look” this is where my brain goes! ⭐️MY KEY ELEMENTS⭐️ Soft & Fresh Skin * Light to medium coverage to let your natural skin peek through * Subtly bronzed & blushed * Allowing your skin’s natural radiance to shine through Minimalistic Eyes & Lips * Soft and minimal eyeshadow * Barely there eyeliner: I usually achieve this with a small amount of brown gel liner that is smudged out with a lighter shade of eyeshadow to give just the effect of dimension on the lash line. * Half lashes are a must! Giving just enough volume/length to the outer half while still being subtle and blended with mascara to your natural lashes. * More often than not, when doing a natural makeup look I am going for a “your lips but better” vibe with lipliner close to your natural lip shade and a pinky nude gloss! 📣Save this post as your Natural Makeup Inspo!
