The original special makeup artist thought we were filming in SF - we were NOT. Huge thanks to @danielsukara_mua for stepping in and doing the best special makeup. 2. I messed up the parking situation, so I ended up paying for a lot of tickets (in Westwood too🫠😌🫠). 3. Tate was an incredible AD and therapy dog on set. 4. I asked @lashfan to find someone to drive an U-haul and deliver the equipment to the location, and it turned out to be @allreallin aka @_henrylin_ brother. And I was like “oh why does this guy look like Henry?” 💀what a small world.

最近一直想到之前有個緬甸folklore: 一個人擊敗了惡龍之後，卻因為著迷於龍的財寶，讓自己變成了新的一隻惡龍。 其實不只是台灣的影視圈，這整個產業就是一個被gatekeeping 很嚴重的業界，而且很容易去剝削一個人對電影跟電視產業的熱情與一切。能撐下來的，只有少數很幸運、有比較多支援跟支持的人，但很多人撐到那個位子後，就忘記當初受過的委屈，成了新的守門人，並開始剝削新來的一批人。「我們以前都這樣做的。」、「為什麼你們不願意這樣做？明明前面的人都這樣來的。」這句話不知道聽了幾百次。但就算各位過去都是用這樣做法撐過來，不代表這是合法、這是對的。 講究正當合法對這個產業的有些人來說根本不重要。將自己的作品做好、推廣到國際，也不過就是縹緲虛無的承諾跟夢想。真正實際的只有落進口袋的錢。不論這筆錢是來自政府補助，還是行銷包裝後賣給台灣人的愛台、愛電影的夢。

我只是希望有一天，我可以不用一天到晚擔心中國派軍隊打來，可以自由自在的當個台灣人。 I just wish one day, I don’t have to worry about China sending its army to Taiwan.
