Traces of temperature Thursday,13th November. 18:00- (* Admission Free) Callie’s  (LindowerStraße 20, 13347, Berlin) @calliesberlin (EN) The open studio will be held as a result of the three-month residency at Callie’s Berlin, selected for the TOKAS Tokyo-Berlin Exchange Residency Program. I’m participating as a collaborator. Based on research into underground ruins that preserve memories of war, we created a video game work. and a performance piece. The buildings weathered away, and not a single trace of humanity remained. By pressing a button on the controller, that world will go back to the past. The player can watch and listen to the stories that took place during the war. The viewer can see their temperature and body sensation, and tactile sensation. However, once the button is released, the world returns to a white, desolate landscape in 2125. (The statement of the performance) The traces left behind existed without a voice, quietly and heavily. Beneath their cold and rigid surface, a burning thought, a prayer, and a silent resignation lingered. This is a memory of warmth that remains in the world, at the moment when the boundaries of existence begin to dissolve. . 2024.12.01.Sun ヨコハマダンスコレクション2024コンペティションⅠ にて 「若手振付家のための在日フランス大使館賞・ダンス リフレクションズ by ヴァン クリーフ&アーペル賞」を受賞致しました。 強く重い、本作品のテーマに向き合う日々は、 何を考えても正解ではないような気がしてこの作品の方向性を何度も見失い、放り投げてはまた仲直りして…を繰り返す制作期間でした。 そんな中、多くの方の助けがあり皆様の前に届けることができました。 また、このような賞をいただけたことを、とても光栄に思います。 お力を貸していただいた方、応援して下さった方、気にかけて下さった方、誠にありがとうございました。 この賞に甘んじず、来年予定されているフランスでのレジデンスでも、作品を通して誰かと出会い、つながり、問い続けていけますように。楽しみながら精進してきます🇫🇷 video special thanks 宇佐美奈緒 #ydc2024 #ヨコハマダンスコレクション2024
