I had the absolute pleasure of writing the music for the new Kawasaki H2. An insane supercharged UTV powered by their Ninja H2 engine. Much love to the
@roosbrothers for bringing me on and giving full creative control to make some over the top and blown out distorted tones 🎛️
1. Full drum loop. Crazy how much heavy lifting the Izotope Trash 2 is doing on this loop. I side chained everything (including reverbs) to the kick and found this sweet spot in the threshold of the distortion to only trigger right at the top to really give it some extra energy. Are you really distorting if you aren’t clipping by 20+ db 💀
2. Isolated synth. The base of this sound is coming from the Piston Honda, gates with random ratcheting coming from the Eloquencer then into maths for some envelope movement.
3. Intro atmosphere. Lots of layers from
@slateandash Spectres fed into the cxm1978. Messing with the pre delay on the lofi mode gets you these really insane pitch reverb throws that are wildly captivating.
4. Full video!!! Growing up watching the Pennzoil viper and Demon spots, it’s always been a dream of mine to work with
@csabawagner and the team at
@sweetjusticesound . They are the absolute best at what they do, super inspiring getting to work together.
