Continuing my research, I’ve created a new sequence where a character moves through an interactive environment.
In this new project I started by listening to the music of @modismusic , which became the main inspiration for everything that followed.
This time, I navigate the scene with a smooth camera sequence—no cuts—using a gamepad to move fluidly through the space as the choreography unfolds. At certain moments, I capture stills of the dancer mid-motion, freezing their pose in space and leaving behind a snapshot of the past movement.
The result is a kind of sculptural memory: clones of the performer suspended in time, while the live dance continues around and through them.
Everything runs in real time inside Unreal Engine @unrealengine , and the sequence was recorded using OBS Studio.
