Well, it looks like we have a couple of gearboxes just about ready to test.. !
The new PRP Modena GTR 6 speed sequential has now been through its first full production run and we are ready to make gearboxes with the aim of having them on the shelf with a very short turnaround.
It’s all very exciting!
Keep your eyes peeled as we have the next couple of Roll racing events and Gtr festival where you will see this gearbox running and cutting laps!

Thanks to @mackracing_ and @rollracingsydney we have the perfect platform to test the first box before we hit go on full production that is all ready for the first 40 boxes in a very short time!
Everyone is really excited but no more than us to get this new collaborative product out of the marketplace with the best legacy engineering Australia has to offer, made with the best machines and tooling the industry has ever seen.

We are punching out some big production numbers working alongside PRP on a few of their projects including the new Gtr 32-34 sequential gearbox as well as catering to our old faithful world renowned parts we have always offered like the Subaru 6 speed sequential and h pattern dog and synchro kits we are known for.
Perhaps a little less of the bespoke one off repair stuff and more of the stuff that makes the greater population happy!
LSD‘s that we have always made including G50 Porsche and R180 Subaru, but finishing off some new releases including the R160 for the front diff on the Gtr as well as the R200 for the rear to go well with the Billet PRP housings.
We also have an 8.8 LSD in a couple of options including ramp and plate!

Not a bad night overall! Lots of learning, the @modenaengineering centre diff is 10/10.
I was worried it would make the car handle worse in the tight stuff but it was the opposite.
It felt felt different, but much more predictable. It’s pointy which caught me off guard a few times, lift off rotation is incredible.
I must admit, I thought Frank was just trying to upsell me his centre diff so I stuck with the DCCD. I wish I did this earlier.
The only downside to this is now I’m stuck with Frank calling me a Peanut. 🤣
