Loving the clean JDMs coming through lately!
This immaculate low km Spec C came in for a selection of quality upgrades to improve on both the power and handling.
Retaining the OEM twin-scroll system, we upgraded the turbocharger to a @gtpumps GTPS0283TS unit added a flex-fuel capable fuel system and an @avo_turboworld_official stainless steel exhaust system. With a custom flex fuel tune it lay down a very respectable 270kw at the wheels on the unopened motor.
To help transmit that power to the ground, we upgraded the OEM clutch with an Exedy HD Sports Organic unit which keeps the clutch feel Smooth and user friendly.
To finish things off, we installed @mcasuspension Pro Sport coilover suspension and completed a full setup to optimise the car’s handling making for a very well rounded package.

Starting 2026 with a BANG 💥
After 4 months of waiting, the @sydneymotorsportengineering G30-660 turbo kit finally arrived. Within 3 days we had it installed and running, just in time to bring it down to @gotitrex for Subaru Cars & Coffee.
Warwick asked me to leave the car so he could start working on the tune that same week. The goal with this setup was actually to limit power and torque to keep the drivetrain happy for track use.
What surprised me most is how effortlessly this turbo makes power. Virtually no turbo lag, incredibly smooth delivery, and it constantly feels like the car wants to make way more.
Even with everything intentionally held back we still ended up with:
308kW (413hp) at only 10psi of boost.
Boost controller and flex fuel CANbus kit supplied by @delicioustuning .
Huge shoutout to Heng for letting me use his shop @euro_autowerk on short notice and for his expert help installing the kit. Couldn’t have done it without him.
And @thetangy1 for the critical moral support during the install 😂
Even on 255 tyres traction is a challenge, but it’s been insanely fun.

This ‘09 Forester is back for a @link_ecu ECU expansion. We’ve pushed the existing setup further with a Link CAN EGT system for individual cylinder tuning and a CAN keypad for on-the-fly map switching and motorsport features.
To back up the electronics, we’ve mated new @bnm_performance_fab headers to our GIR twist mount kit, with EGT sensors welded in. The result is a refined, highly capable setup making 429kW on E85.
