Isn’t Easy is about self-reflection and perhaps seeing a different perspective on a situation, conversation or discussion in the past. Being empathetic is not always easy, especially if you are reacting emotionally due to trauma or experience. At least that’s the case for me. Sometimes I have reacted coldly in the past, even though the exact opposite was bubbling inside me. Ultimately, however, it’s important to recognise this and learn from it and put it into practice in the future, even if it’s not easy. Simply taking a step backwards is certainly not the solution.

‘Off My Mind’ - 05.07.
This song came a long way. I changed the intention of this song so often, I changed the drum structures several times, shifted the mood in a completely different direction, changed the chord progressions, changed the vocals, swapped synthesiser for guitar and then deleted almost the whole song, only to leave it as it is now. The song has been through about as much as I have in the last few years. I still struggle with some incidents on a daily basis, trying to get them out of my head and not burden myself so much emotionally. Sometimes it’s really crazy how art reflects you, where your problems are, in the whole process of making it, as well as the meaning of a finished song.
But now the time has finally come and you can experience my emotional world.

The time has come, I’ve put new strings on my guitar and for good reason. Because after the release is before the release and the next one is just around the corner. For this one, I’ve pulled out my guitar and for the first time in a long time, I’ve let it flow into a song.
Together with the guys from @modem_39 , my next EP with two of my own songs and two remixes will be released on 5 July. Of course I won’t tell you what they are yet! So stay tuned and I hope you enjoy the first snippet of the EP.
