Diversity Fashion Week is honored to announce a partnership with Models of Diversity, founded by Angel Sinclair. 🫶🏿✨️ . . . At Models of Diversity, their purpose is to promote greater diversity in the fashion, beauty, and media industries. They call on the fashion, beauty, and marketing industries to recognise the beauty in people of all races, ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities. Our mission is to change the face of fashion and modeling in which our vision is very aligned with theirs, and we believe that by working together, we can make real changes. Models of Diversity is the registered charity established in the UK to campaign for more inclusion and representation in the fashion, beauty and media industry by opening it up to the beautiful people that we don’t often get to see on our Instagram feeds, billboards, TV ads and runways. We are excited about what the future will bring and make sure to keep an eye out on our socials for some exciting updates! Want to be an ambassador/advocate for Diversity Fashion Week or/and Models of Diversity? Feel free to reach out.

Met Gala 2026 really felt like a turning point ✨ not just for fashion, but for visibility and who gets centered on one of the world’s biggest stages. Moments of diversity and inclusion we love to see 💫 @laurenwasser gilded and glorious red carpet look was more than fashion it was power. A historic moment as @aarianaphilip made space for representation where it matters most becoming the first wheelchair user to ever attend the Met Gala 👏 And @thesineadburke returned in a stunning corseted gown we’re still thinking about, continuing to challenge and reshape the fashion narrative. Drama. Art. Culture. Fashion at its peak, other notable appearances included Anna Wintour in feathered Chanel, while Madonna turned heads with her dramatic nautical-witch moment (yes, that ship headpiece 👀). Stevie Nicks brought ethereal rock energy, and Sam Smith went all-out glam with a towering feathered look. This is what progress looks like. 💛 #MetGala2026 #RepresentationMatters #FashionForAll

The sun’s out, layers are coming off… and suddenly everyone’s being a little harder on themselves. Here’s your reminder: your body was never the problem. Not the softness, not the stretch marks, not the way it sits, moves, or takes up space. That’s just a human body—doing exactly what it’s meant to do. There’s no “summer version” of you that you need to earn. You don’t have to shrink, sculpt, or punish yourself to deserve sunshine, beaches, or photos. Every body is normal. Yours included. So wear the bikini. Sit how you want. Take up space. Laugh loudly. Get on with living. ✨ #EveryBodyIsNormal #SummerWithoutShame #BodyAcceptance #RealBodies * please contact us if you have photo credit - we’re sorry we couldn’t find it!!

Two icons. One cover. A powerful shift. When Meryl Streep and Anna Wintour appear on the cover of Vogue together—marking Anna’s first-ever cover—it’s more than a fashion moment. It’s a statement. In an industry that has long centered youth as the standard of beauty and relevance, this cover quietly challenges ageism. It reminds us that influence, intelligence, and presence don’t fade—they deepen. These are women who have shaped culture, led industries, and redefined what power looks like. And here they are, not as exceptions, but as proof: visibility doesn’t expire. Representation should reflect real life—at every age. Because style, strength, and impact are not bound by a number. This isn’t just iconic. It’s necessary. #vogue #iconic #representation

Nike’s Boston Marathon slogan “Runners welcome. Walkers tolerated.” completely missed the point I’ve ran, walked, and dragged myself around many races 10Ks, half marathon and a marathon and I would never have made it through some of them if I hadn’t walked. Not everyone on that course is chasing a PB. Some people are fighting battles no one else can see. Walkers do not need to be tolerated. They deserve to be respected! Because every single person who gets to that start line whether they run, walk, limp, or crawl.. belong there. So to my fellow walkers and crawlers Every step forward matters. Every mile still counts, you belong on that course just as much as anyone else. @nike do better.

They’ll take our money. But they won’t give us representation. Disabled people make up over 15% of the global population—yet in fashion, are almost invisible. Studies have shown that less than 1% of models in major campaigns are visibly disabled. The message is loud and clear: Your bodies are profitable… just not “marketable.” This isn’t about ability. It’s about access, opportunity, and who gets to be seen. We don’t need special treatment. We need equal visibility. Because style has never depended on ability— only the industry’s willingness to include it. #ModelsOfDiversity #DisabilityRepresentation #InclusiveFashion #FashionForAll #RepresentationMatters
