20 years ago, The Loved Ones put out their debut album Keep Your Heart. While they were on tour and playing at the Grog Shop in early 2007, Rozco and I met in the bathroom while peeing talking and about our bands MySpace pages. We connected and have been friends ever since. They played the intro track “Suture Self” for the first time on the current Dave Hause and the Mermaid tour this past Saturday, and we were all ecstatic. The album is a masterpiece of high octane melodic punk rock n roll.
