Taking place within the exhibition Helmut Lang – Séance de Travail 1986–2025, this event stages a precise intervention in dialogue with Lang’s legacy.
Students from Craig Green’s class present outcomes of the “white project,” temporarily inhabiting the floor plan of Helmut Lang’s A/W 2004/05 show.
White serves as the common thread - fragmentary, speculative, and unfinished - responding to Lang’s radical reduction while extending it into the present.
Through silhouettes, structures, movement, and sound, the installation transforms the space into a living environment where fashion is not only displayed but spatially articulated.
Fête Blanche becomes a collective moment: a new generation filling the space with new ideas, new bodies, and new futures for fashion.
