Playing b2b with Karmerr from 21:00-23:00 we have Mobbtech. Tiego Cignoli, better known as Mobbtech, is a South African DJ and producer carving out his lane in the underground. With a sound that refuses to be boxed in, he moves effortlessly between house, techno, breakbeat and garage — driven by heavy basslines, tight percussion, and cutting overtones that hit with intent.
Seven years deep, Mobbtech has built a reputation for delivering raw, stripped-back sets that speak to the dancefloor first. He’s shared lineups with some of South Africa’s most respected selectors and international underground names, holding his own with a sound that’s both refined and uncompromising.
As the force behind The Loft, a weekly event on the edge of Johannesburg’s CBD, he’s not just playing the scene — he’s helping shape it. The platform has become a breeding ground for a new wave of artists, pushing a culture built on consistency, energy, and real community.
