Throne in the making, part 2 🤭 Having way too much fun with this. I’ll be adding more colour to match the stone at the location, but here she is, almost done 🩵🧜‍♀️

First phase of the Throne build for SIREN. I am now a prop designer… how fun 🐚💅 Collaborating with @saxonwatson to bring this piece to life. Can’t wait to show you how she evolves!! It’s already changed quite a bit. 🤫

One of my favourite parts of a creative project is watching everyone’s pieces begin to take shape. My beautiful friend @hollyryanstudio is one of the many talented collaborators in the creative project I am working on currently. SIREN will weave together film, photography, poetry and sculptural pieces into a larger world we are slowly building. Watching everyone’s pieces begin to take shape is such a special part of the process.🐚✨🎥

My little girl self would be proud of who I am today. I’ve been reflecting a lot on the last year since turning 33 (coolest number). One thing I’ve learnt is that life gets better and better. You just have to be willing to dream. It’s okay to want more, and the path there is authenticity. Of course, the key is to enjoy the process by remaining present to the path unfolding. It ends up speeding you along, because you slow down enough to listen for the next intuitive nudge. Over the last year I’ve been living in a big, beautiful yellow doll-house in the Northern Rivers, taking things super easy. I knew I had to move somewhere new after my breakup, and knowing this land held lots of creative people, a great music scene, plus an abundance of nature, it just felt right. I didn’t work much at all. Instead, I used that time to really work on my nervous system and limiting beliefs. I felt like I wanted to get to know myself again and understand what I truly wanted in life. Amidst the breakup, and to help process emotions, I got deep into the drums. I managed to teach myself by listening to music and breaking it down. My body has great rhythm and sound memory. It always has, which is probably why I love dancing so much. I painted a mini series called Bark Series and taught myself how to make my own floating frames so I could exhibit them. I’ve also found and nurtured a beautiful community of friends, and I could not be more stoked with the quality of people I find myself surrounded by. There is so much I am grateful for and can be proud of. It’s nice to remind yourself of all you have achieved, and all that you have. Me and my sister Georgia next slide ❤️

Excited to have @whackawhim on board for SIREN. She has a gift with words, and the way this theme has moved through her already feels powerful. ✨🧜‍♀️ Building slowly and intentionally 🩵

Journal with me tonight ✨ and let the old fade away…or burn away 🔥 Before I move into anything new, I like to clear what’s still lingering. I’ve shared the five prompts I’m journaling to on Substack. (link in bio) 💚🐍 Smashing video credit to @ciara_jones_photo

When you allow your mind to wander without directing it, your subconscious starts connecting things your logical brain can’t force. You make room for inspiration to find you. This is where new and impactful ideas form. 🦋 Most of us interrupt the dream too quickly: “That’s unrealistic.” “That won’t work.” “That’s silly.” What if you practiced letting the dream play out fully before judging it? There’s something new forming for me right now, and it didn’t come from pushing. It came from curiosity at what lit me up. ✨ Let your mind wander somewhere safe. Especially in nature. 🐸 Especially near water. 💦 #creativeprocess #artistslife #creativepractice #womenwhocreate #slowliving
