What an honour to be human and experience grief and joy simultaneously; to flow with the river through it all, returning again and again to the present through a series of transitions from what was to what is
At the turn of spring - Frangipani branches were bedraggled and bare, slowly buds turned into blooms and I was treated with their sweet scent each day - now a slow decay is taking place as the warmth fades and autumn starts to show its face
Witnessing the seasons in a new land is magical - to feel held where my feet have landed has opened my heart in deep surrender

Home is always a place of intense reflection and renewal of all that has been, is, and will be.
During my last visit, raw conversations catalysed an unfurling of shame and grief, both generational and personal.
I’ve been here now two years in Australia. The birthplace of four generations of women before me.
I’ve been on a deep dive, sifting through outdated illusions and conditioning; realising the privilege we have as women in this day to reach back in time, gather the gifts of our ancestors, and give breath back to us all.
My writing and exploration of expressing this in new ways led to my most recent work in the Bloom Art Exhibition.
