I was lucky to have an amazing woman raise me with unconditional love and affection, and I’m blessed to know that my kids have the same. Thank you for bringing Leyanna, Cora and Enzo into my life. My queen.
Today marks 6 months since I lost my Mom. People say time heals, and maybe thats true, but time also makes the heart grow fonder and the passage of time has made her absence heavier, the cracks in my heart deeper, and the distance between us larger. So many days have passed since I last heard her voice.
To alleviate my sorrow, I asked my friend John Dessereau (@johnsville.studio ) to create a painting from the last day we spent together.
In that moment, I never thought she would be gone only two months later. This day was peaceful, we were strolling in nature with the kids, holding hands, quietly smiling, and just being happy together.
Thats how I like to remember her. Happy and peaceful. God knows she earned it.
Thank you John for accepting my commission. Please check out his beautiful artwork and feel free to contact him for special requests. Art heals the soul.
There’s no limit to love. Thats what my Mom, Coco, taught me.
