With Route 66 turning 💯 this year, I know I’m craving a road trip more than EVER! It’s so interesting to be a planner and simultaneously being for the “war on cars” and appreciating car culture and the history of the automobile in conjunction with the “Mother Road.”
Do you have any plans to get on Route 66 this summer? Check out all the fun events that are planned at @routemagazine and route66centennial.org Prints Available - https://mkrstud10.framer.art/

Architectural detail from the now former Urban Outfitters at 328-330 N. San Fernando Ave. in Burbank, CA.
I hope the future tenant keeps + restores the awesome interior/exterior details of this space. The closing of UO isn’t surprising, but this particular location was a fixture in Downtown Burbank for a longtime.

LA is full of signs! In 2003, City and design industry officials dedicated the new Furniture & Decorative Arts District in Historic South Central.
Its boundaries are the L.A. Mart on the northwest at Broadway and Washington Boulevard, Central Avenue on the east and Florence Avenue on the south. 🛋️🪑🛏️

Valley Village separated from North Hollywood in 1991 with the establishment of the Valley Village Specific Plan. It’s fun to walk around and notice remnants from the 90’s including this sign for Beepers along Laurel Canyon Blvd!
