This medal Monday hit different! I didn’t earn these by myself. This wasn’t a solo effort like a marathon. I couldn’t have done it without the other 5 hard working, committed, athletic women of color beside me and 6 dedicated support crew/drivers (including my mom!).
So much accomplished, memories, laughs, really hard moments and a lot of “Im just gonna thug it out”. Super proud. Congrats ladies. We DID that ✅

Traded the run fit for something a bit more relaxed. Im rockin this very cute Movement Cropped Sweatshirt from @brooksrunning .
I paired it with the PR Elite tights but no PRs today. I put them on because they’re light and comfortable for this weird warm-up in the weather. The sweatshirt is exactly what I need for a day of errands and work before the big race.
