The Lockers #15
Starting off with Rosa (
@rosabosaa ) with a two-hour set of minimal electronics and subtle experimentation. Departing from her bass-heavy club sets, this one moves with a steady flow, blurring the line between focused listening and ambient drift. A must-hear for the explorative listener.
The Hague’s own HyperLili (
@hyperlili_070 ) follows and kicks off at full speed and doesn’t let go. Her set is a high-intensity ride through tek, tribe, breakbeat, trance, and psy. The energy keeps climbing steadily throughout the set, creating a momentum that commands all the dancing muscles in the body.
Gilly (
@gilly.inc ) delivers a one-hour set full of energy and rhythm, moving through Afro percussive sounds, house, UK funky, jungle, and more. Her selections are rooted in both personal background and wider club culture. With a genre-fluid approach and a strong sense of flow, the set stays amusive and danceable throughout.
To close things off, we’ve got Deve (
@mjerit ) who was told not to bite the apple. Deve does not follow rules nor instructions. Deve is also allergic to apples. By taking an approach to digging and playing in which feelings and concepts take the upper hand, Deve does not shy away from crossing musical borders. The abundance of inspirations and genres gives them a unique versatility, but will they ever be able to soothe that craving for the apple?
