I’m excited to announce I’ll be performing songs from my newest musical ROOT VEGETABLES at Green Room 42 @thegreenroom42 on September 28th at 1pm, with an INCREDIBLE and MAGICAL group of actors and musicians. Come spend 70 mins of your afternoon listening to rock-folk-jazz-avantpop music, following the story of Hedy, Caz, and Psy - three friends who move to the Catskills to start a queer farm utopia, near where Hedy’s Yiddish Bundist great-great grandpa Leib had a farm. I’ve been working on this deeply personal musical for the past three years, and it’s a show that swirls around themes of uncertainty & precarity, cybernetics & technology, queerness, and Jewishness.
