"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits." ~ Psalm 103:2.

This is the month we’ve been waiting for.💃💃
Everything we’ve been building is finally coming together, and we can’t wait to start unveiling the incredible partners joining us on this journey.
To everyone who has supported us so far, thank you. Your support means more than you know, and it’s already making a difference.
But for us, this has never been just about donating pads. It’s about education, dignity, and making sure no girl ever feels ashamed or left out because of her period.
We’re going all in this month. No holding back!
And yes, you can still support us. We’re still on the journey to reach 6,000 girls across cities in Nigeria, and you can be part of it.

Today is my friend’s birthday, and somehow, her story is woven into the name El-Berit Academy.
Years ago, in university, I was dealing with an identity crisis.
Low self-esteem. Confusion. I didn’t feel grounded in who I was.
So I decided to give myself a name.
Something that would constantly remind me that I am special to God.
Around that time, I was reading the book of Revelation and came across the names of the precious stones in the New Jerusalem. I chose the one I could pronounce easily — Emerald (make teeth no break😂)
But the name didn’t feel complete without God in it.
I needed something that would anchor me in Him as His precious daughter, so I started searching for a Last name 😌
Then May 1st came, her birthday.
She gave out a souvenir card with the names of God and their meanings printed at the back.
And just like that, I found it.
El-Berit (spelt El-berith)— The God of Covenant.
So I became Emerald El-Berit.
Years later, when I started the school, that name followed me.
At the point of registration, “Emerald” was dropped, and what remained is what we now carry:
El-Berit Academy.
And this name has carried me.
Because knowing that God is a covenant-keeping God has steadied me in seasons where nothing around me looked like His promises.
Happy birthday, Excel .
You have always been that girl.
I’m grateful that you are still a part of my life and this journey.
Thank you for always pointing me to Jesus. 💚

WELCOME TO THE BEST MONTH OF THE YEAR!!! 💅😌
Everything about May is giving soft and bougie, it even started with a public holiday! 🥹
And no! My birthday isn't today (save the gifts for May 31st!😂).
I’m just sharing this throwback that shows how children at El-Berit Academy take birthdays personally, not just mine, they celebrate one another's birthdays with gifts and songs.
Even on days I don’t feel like celebrating, this is the kind of energy I walk into.
Earlier this week, I walked into a class and saw they had made a birthday calendar showing the birthdays of members of the class and had pasted it on the wall. I was so impressed that I told the teachers and other classes to emulate it.
I love that we’re building a space where children feel seen and celebrated.
Happy New Month! 🥳🥳🥳

Every child deserves a classroom that reflects their worth.
At El-berit Academy, we are committed to bridging the gap between affordability and excellence for children from low-income homes.
And excellence is not just in what is taught.
It is in where it is taught.
A classroom is more than four walls; it is a silent teacher. When we elevate the learning space, we elevate a child's expectations of themselves.
So while we wait for better, we work with what we have.
We got sand from erosion.
We showed up.
We did what we could.
But the truth is this:
This current building is rented, and even up for sale.
Our vision deserves permanence.
And our children deserve a space built intentionally for them.
We’ve secured land.
Now, we want to start building step by step.
At the moment, one bag of cement costs ₦12,200.
And every contribution brings us closer to classrooms that inspires excellence, confidence and dignity.
If you believe learning environments shape outcomes,
this is your opportunity to be part of something tangible.

Some Bible verses that caught my attention and blessed my heart so far this week.
Slides 1 & 3 are really soothing because most of the time, I honestly don’t know what I’m doing with my life 😂 I just want to believe it is the Lord guiding my path, and that I’m receiving counsel from Him… not a mad man 😂😂🤲🏼 (Peter Obi people know the context 😂)
Slide 2 reminds me to keep a joyful outlook because 1000000% my help comes from the Lord.
The last one though 😂😂😂🤐

Menstrual health is a fundamental aspect of human rights, dignity, and public health.
Menstrual Hygiene Day, observed annually on May 28th, is dedicated to breaking taboos and raising awareness about the importance of good menstrual hygiene management (MHM).
Proper menstrual hygiene is integral to achieving several United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals:
Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
In celebration of Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, we @pureimpactsinspirational in addition to our annual sensitization programs, we will be sharing 6000 pads to girls in rural communities across 6 states in Nigeria.
This is massive!
With the cost of a pad estimated at N1000, you can join us in advocating for menstrual health and hygiene.
You can send your donations to;
Acct number: 1037240415
Acct name: Pure Impact Inspirational Network

Together, we can break the silence, end the stigma, and ensure menstrual health for all.

This is an investment in the school owner I am becoming and the vision I carry.
I am beyond excited to announce that I’ll be attending School Leadership Masterclass hosted by @topeadenuga@thefacultycompany ! I’ll be joining other school owners and leaders for two intensive days of learning and transformation.
This masterclass promises a shift: moving from leading by default to Leading by design.
My expectations are incredibly high. I’m ready to learn how to:
☑️Build systems that work beyond individuals.
☑️Lead proactively, not reactively.
☑️ Position @elberitacademy for sustainable growth.
Thank you, @topeadenuga for putting this together for school owners.
From our lead volunteer @lizzy_b_omotolah
To everyone who has supported our past projects, and most especially our ongoing pad project, we are sincerely grateful. We pray that God continues to replenish your purse and reward your kindness abundantly. .
However, we are still below our target as of today and many girls out there are counting on us.
Please no amount is too small.
Once again, thank you so much!!!
