John the Beloved β the disciple who chose to define himself by loveπ
Not because Jesus loved him more than the others, but because John understood something many of us struggle with: identity.
John did not define himself by his past, his mistakes, or even his assignment. He defined himself by love. And that posture shaped how he walked with Jesus, how he saw Him, and how he wrote about Him.
When we stop defining ourselves by our failures and begin to see ourselves as those whom Jesus loves, our hearts open. Love becomes the lens through which we encounter Christ. Love unlocks intimacy, clarity, and deeper revelation.
This is an invitation for every believer, to echo Johnβs confession and let it become our identity too:
I am the one Jesus loves.π«ΆπΌ
