So let's chat about this new little project of mine. Some of you may know that I used to be a part of running an event called VIVA RIVA. It was a great experience & I'm truly grateful for every person that was involved in that event. However, for my mental health, I took a step away from throwing my own parties. But when Taco Kat reached out to me about an all ladies event, I knew that this was my time to curate again.
The universe is all about timing and the timing just feels immaculate. I'm finally at a point where I am ready to put my energy into more music & art for the community. While I'm at it, I want to celebrate the women in this scene.
I'm really excited to be back at it & it is so full circle that my first fully self curated event gets to take place at the same venue that gave me my first ever chance to shine as a local dj. It's an absolute honor to have the support that I've been getting in this scene and I'm so very thankful and excited to be a part of the Orlando DJ scene.
Our first event takes place a week from today. Let's celebrate women DJs on this day & every day. I plan to continue utilizing females on majority of the lineups and I'm pumped to be a reason that more women can get an opportunity to shine in the scene (like
@tacokattacokat did for me)
