So let's chat about this new little project of mine. Some of you may know that I used to be a part of running an event called VIVA RIVA. It was a great experience & I'm truly grateful for every person that was involved in that event. However, for my mental health, I took a step away from throwing my own parties. But when Taco Kat reached out to me about an all ladies event, I knew that this was my time to curate again.
The universe is all about timing and the timing just feels immaculate. I'm finally at a point where I am ready to put my energy into more music & art for the community. While I'm at it, I want to celebrate the women in this scene.
I'm really excited to be back at it & it is so full circle that my first fully self curated event gets to take place at the same venue that gave me my first ever chance to shine as a local dj. It's an absolute honor to have the support that I've been getting in this scene and I'm so very thankful and excited to be a part of the Orlando DJ scene.
Our first event takes place a week from today. Let's celebrate women DJs on this day & every day. I plan to continue utilizing females on majority of the lineups and I'm pumped to be a reason that more women can get an opportunity to shine in the scene (like @tacokattacokat did for me)

Tonight’s the night to see @cataclisma____ in her element at Groovy Garden! 🙂↔️🌱
Cataclisma’s sets are hard to pin down and that’s the point. She moves through deep house, minimal, acid, and breaks with a natural ease, building something that feels uplifting and slightly otherworldly at the same time. Every set is different because every room is different.
Her sound took shape across years spent inside Europe’s underground. Playing HiFi listening lounges, open air parties, and late night residencies in Valencia, Spain, absorbing scenes that treat music like it actually matters. In 2025 she debuted on RadioActiva TX, Mexico’s number one alternative radio station, through the Senty Radio collective.
Now rooted in Orlando, she’s building something. Quietly on her own terms, with music she genuinely believes in.

Cataclisma is a DJ from Jacksonville who found her footing somewhere else entirely. After picking up her first decks in 2020 she moved to Spain, landing in Valencia at exactly the
right time: a city with an underground that doesn’t forgive half-measures. She played wherever she could. Open decks, then residencies. Open air sets at Turia Park. A
Thursday night series at HiFi Valencia, one of the city’s most respected listening lounges -
co-curated with The Basement Soundsystem.
Her sets move between minimal house, acid, techno, and breaks. Not as a genre exercise but
as a natural conversation. Nothing is planned too far ahead. The room decides.
In 2025 she took her Dub & Deep mix to RadioActiva TX, Mexico’s number one alternative radio

Now back in Florida and based in Orlando, she
returns to Jacksonville for Sound Union at Myth, stepping into harder territory and doing it entirely on her own terms.
