Now that there’s snow on the ground and proper riding seasons all but over, I should maybe say something about this thing that I’ve been relatively quiet about. My 13 year old self would be so stoked that I have a bike that I helped design, and did all the graphics on. But even better, I got it when I’m 33. The Warbler, everybody.

@first.light.frames reached out for some art last year, and it slowly evolved into him building me a custom frame. I drew up some weird ideas, he had some things he wanted to try, and it came out like this. Exactly what I hoped for. What a fucking dream come true. Paul has taught you well my friend, thank you so much.

Bike Nerdery is as follows!
-
Long n slack w/ 68°hta and 450mm chainstays which are accented by a very very cool yoke from
@kongabicycles , and capped with adjustable dropouts. Thomas flipped the
@wzrd.bikes style seat stays on their head for me to match the
@simworks Doppo MTB fork I was dreaming about. Built with a 44mm head tube so I can turn it into a hard tail if I wanna get really psycho. It’s got a simple yet effective drivetrain, hubs that barely spin, grey sidewall 29x2.35 influencer adjacent Mezcals. It’s dropper compatible, but I put a carbon one in for bikepacking and never really looked back. Not a gravel bike. Not a mountain bike. But a secret, third, better thing that is somehow both and neither. #atb

There’s something I’m embarrassed about in Photo 6, first one to spot it wins a sticker pack.
