Let’s talk Signage Pricing! Believe me when I say - signage pricing is NOT talked about enough! So let me pull down the curtain to what goes into it and why I have a minimum spend of $1500. When starting a business from nothing - and when I say ‘nothing’ I mean quite literally a cricut machine and a 3rd floor apartment balcony - you learn A LOT. And mainly the hard way 🙃 3 years in, I have grown this business from nothing, worked my butt off to get the best training, mentorship’s, whole sale suppliers, employees, and machines to make beautiful signage for couples getting married in Oahu with limited access to signage! I quit my full time job, and relied on the income to both support me and develop the business. It’s been educational shall we say. So, after another huge learning year last year (and lots of tears) - I made the promise to myself and team that I would set a minimum spend. Not just for the sustainability of the business but to protect my peace and that of my staff and family. The honest truth is: luxury wedding signage is A LOT of work,time, and money!From admin, to design, production time, and delivery and breakdown, overheads and studio/storage cost, and fair pay, it all adds up! The minimum spend isn’t about excluding people. It’s about protecting the quality, sustainability, creative integrity, and people putting in the work! Another uncomfortable truth: wedding signage is a “luxury!” It is not a necessity like many other things! But if thoughtful, impactful design matters to you— this is where it starts! And if it’s not your priority? That’s absolutely fine too.
