Four Seasons Oahu Wedding | My design inspiration was to bring architectural flow of an interior space to the outdoors for this styled wedding. Blending structure, textures & creating an atmosphere that feels like a curated interior space . Tablescape : Indoor lamps, textured natural stone vessels, antique French glassware & beautiful luxury table linens & runners all enveloped by lush fresh floral blooms on the tablescape . Ceremony space: I wanted it to feel like an architectural wall surrounded by a natural blooming garden of exquisite blooms! We will have more to share on this design soon! The bridal bouquet was designed with island limoncello cymbidium orchids & pale yellow Taiwan Oncidiums draping naturally onto the bridal dress! Kristen’s voluminous gown arrived crushed and in need of care, requiring a shortened hem, a fitted bodice, and a custom bustle. Once the gown and groom’s suit were perfected, the final steam press at @halekulanihotel took place with Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head just beyond the window. Without fail, Hawaii offered a breathtaking sunset to close the day. Yesterday’s theme was blue, the very shade of our Hawaiian ocean. 10 years after meeting on Halloween night, Chris and Misty chose the same date to exchange their vows. Misty dreamt of a Disney wedding, and together they traveled from Oregon to Oahu with their blended family and their wedding attire in need of a good steam press before their they exchanged their vows. I loved the groom’s steampunk look and the cravats with brooches, adding a touch of fantasy and individuality. A fairytale love story enters a new chapter at the @disneyaulani where all the traditions came to life and “something blue” was more than just a detail.It was the ocean, the sky, the heart of their day, pressed to perfection .
