A short story of me giving bike life a go. Was good fun to experience something new, but quickly learnt cars are where my heart is. Bought this bike after riding in Thailand, but UK roads (and drivers) just dont hit the same, felt much more dangerous here than in Thailand despite riding here with gear vs without there.

This road trip took it back to the beginning for me, to the simple days of playing with cars and enjoying a summers evening cruise to Southend for fish and chips
The smells, the road side shenanigans, the rolling the windows down in a tunnel just brought back the old days for one night only
To see so many cool cars and to see everyone behaving themselves so this event could take place was a true experience to be part of

This car never had a post and it deserves one, I sold it 2 weeks ago to @dan_1jz to turn into a skid missile, the fate of most 6cyl manual beamers once they hit 20 years old!

Powered by the 258bhp N52B30, mated to a 6 speed manual this car was an excellent machine for what I paid for it. Taking me effortlessly around the UK and being totally faultless for near 5000 miles despite being on 191k!
.
However my growing needs for a diesel estate and also not really ever falling in love with it meant it was to inevitably be sold on and replaced with my new to me E61 530D. Glad I can follow its new journey through Dan's Instagram, despite it being sold I know its still alive and kicking and soon to be sideways at a drift day near you!

Offically introducing my latest purchase, mine and @mishilicious_ 1984 KE70 Toyota Corolla🍌 with a 4A-GE swap. The idea of coming to Thailand and buying a car may seem crazy to some, but I couldn't pass up this opportunity!

Many people don't know much about these cars, the KE70 actually shares the same chassis as the AE86 and with the 4A-GE engine and 5 speed manual gearbox it essentially is the same car for a lot less money.

For a car that I bought on a total whim at auction, it has done incredibly well; taking me to work and back every day without too much fuss. Can't conplain at all for a 62 year old car! It is a joy to drive and truely a lovely car, looking forward to getting the little bits and bobs sorted and putting some more miles on, so far about 600 and counting!
