From stage to screen in a mere six days! Right on the heels of “Amadeus” closing, I had the supreme good fortune to work as a featured extra in the “The Sound it Makes,” a proof-of-concept for the motion picture “Inhalation.” Based on John Lavelle’s award-winning play of the aforementioned name, “The Sound it Makes” is a powerful exploration of the harrowing psychological turmoil that dwells deep within the men and women of the 1970s FDNY.
From my groovy terracotta trousers to absorbing the incredible marvel of movie-making firsthand (such a village of talented artists and technical magicians!), I hope this is only the beginning of my foray into film acting, where it will thrive alongside my beloved career as a classical soprano (nothing will keep me from opera and the stage).
