Alperen Yalçın (Misucmaker), born in 1989, is an independent artist and researcher. Although he completed his education in music, his interest in architecture has led him to explore the invisible lines of inspiration between the two disciplines.
Archisonic explores the relationship between music and architecture through a musicological lens, approaching it as an interdisciplinary field that has assumed many forms throughout history. This relationship is often reduced to the familiar claim that “both are arts,” yet such a definition remains far too limited.
At its core, the project asks a simple question: can architecture be heard? Alongside a range of historical and conceptual examples that have shaped its orbit, the presentation focuses on Nevzat Sayın’s The Seed concert hall, examining its conceptual resonance with Yellow Submarine. In this way, it reflects on the fragile threshold between intention and coincidence, framing that tension through a hauntological perspective, where traces of past forms and ideas persist, reverberate, and resurface within both architectural and sonic space.
The event will conclude with a musical set made specifically for the METU Architecture Amphitheatre, originally designed in 1963. Supported by audio-visual elements, this site-specific performance is intended to transform the presentation into an immersive experience, offering the audience a memorable encounter at the intersection of sound, space, and memory.

I never imagined I would read @centrepompidou through plastic arts until I met @oguzyalim
After my presentation at iconic Cinnah 19 in Ankara, we started a small artistic exchange inspired by his work interpreting a construction helmet as the Pompidou, from his exhibition Construction Site Views.

Dün akşam, Mimarlar Derneği’nin @mimarlar.dernegi1927 99. yılını sevgili @misucmaker ve @sinanlogie ‘nin konseri eşliğinde kutladık.
Ankara’nın en simgesel ve en zarif yapılarından biri olan Cinnah 19’da gerçekleşen bu buluşma, yalnızca müzikle değil; kentin hafızası, mimarlık kültürü ve birlikte üretmenin değeriyle de bize dokundu.
(Cinnah 19: 1957 yılında Nejat Ersin tarafından tasarlanan, modern mimarlığın Ankara’daki en önemli örneklerinden biri olarak kabul edilen ve bugün Mimarlar Derneği 1927’ye ev sahipliği yapan yapı.)
Bu akşam, güzel Ankara’mızın ve köklü mimarlık geleneğinin taşıdığı değerleri yeniden hissettik.
