Another February album writing month. Just thinking a lot about how hope, community, and art won’t necessarily change anything in and of themselves, but they are very much the fuel; a requirement for change and certainly the thing that keeps the change-makers going. Also was listening to Jimmy Cliff and I think he was good at bringing folk sensibilities to ska and reggae. Almost named this “rebellions are built on hope” but that felt misleading.

Working on this album was one of our favorite experiences as a band and a joy to make, and we hope it inspires you to join in on the fun, even when the world seems less fun these days.
This record is about the seesaw of being human - balancing the love and loss, the beauty and the tragedy. These songs will inspire you to rabble-rouse, help you reflect on how you spend the daily grind, and remind you that the good things in life, like live shows, late night memories, and close friendships, make up 'the nights you won't forget'.
