Awesome weekend at @thecomedystore - was so great seeing all my old friends, and also the club. This place will always be a big part of my life, and Los Angeles. Will be back soon.
Just wrapped my first semester back teaching at @contemporaryatx ’s Art School and I’m feeling super grateful for my students!!! 😭😭🥺 there was laughing, crying, twerking, and mental barriers pushed through over and over again and I’m so proud of them for just showing up and being open to learning and trying every day 🩷🩷
We are really taught to hold ourselves to unrealistically high standards and learning a new practice can be so hard for that reason, especially when you don’t do it perfectly immediately. At the end of the day we’re just a group of girlies trying something new and trying to remember that it’s okay to have some fun along the way. It’s really meaningful to me when students are able to take that lesson with them ✨
When I asked who was interested in continuing their painting journey everyone raised their hand and I cried hahaha so cool
