today is International Nurses Day 🩺 So to mark the occasion, and to celebrate these absolute superstars who we’d all be lost without, we’ve donated 25kg of our direct-trade beans from Brazil Sitio Posses to the John Radcliffe Emergency Department 🫘
We hope these beans, enough to make over 1,200 coffees, will help fuel the incredibly hard working team through their busy days & nights. It’s the least we can do, to provide a little bit of care, for those giving so much care continuously to our community 🙏🏼

Which feels like an appropriate time to proudly share our very first Impact Report - a holistic look at how Missing Bean shows up in the World 🌿
We’ve always believed that exceptional coffee shouldn’t come at the expense of people or planet. This report is our opportunity to put that belief under the microscope. To examine our Direct Trade relationships, to honestly assess our environmental footprint and what sustainability really means at every stage of the supply chain, and to celebrate the teams that make it all possible - the producers, the baristas, the bakers and roasters, who bring Missing Bean to life every day.
This report celebrates our progress and acknowledges what’s still ahead. We hope it gives a clearer picture of what ‘good coffee’ really means to us ☕️

last weekend we had the honour of hosting John from @decentespressomachines alongside several other local machine owners at our Roastery 🔥
It was a super interesting evening full of hands-on tips, tricks and know-how on getting the best out of your home espresso brewing, and in particular how these awesome machines do their thing! 🙌🏼
Thanks so much to John and co. for parting with their wisdom, and thanks to everyone who came along to soak it all in. It was a real treat for the coffee geeks of the community! ☕️
